Leadership announced following JLL and King Sturge deal

JEFF Pearey has been appointed head of the Yorkshire region at Jones Lang LaSalle following the deal which saw the commercial property services firm move for rival King Sturge in a £197m deal.

Colin Fell, of King Sturge, has become the enlarged group’s Yorkshire and North East regional chairman.

All 43 King Sturge offices, including its premises in Leeds, and businesses across Europe, including 24 in the UK, have become part of Jones Lang LaSalle and will operate under the Jones Lang LaSalle brand.

Andrew Gould, Jones Lang LaSalle UK Chief Executive said: “We have brought together outstanding leadership drawn equally from both original organisations. This tremendously powerful group will take our business forward across the UK. I have every confidence in their ability to provide outstanding client service and drive long-term growth.”

The deal, which has seen £98m paid in cash and the balance to be settled over the next five years, completed on May 31.
