DHL moves to Summit
MAJOR logistics company DHL has taken a 37,000 sq ft industrial unit at Summit Park in Glasshoughton for its UK pallet network services.
The logistics services company has taken the speculatively built warehouse in West Yorkshire from Wilson Bowden Developments on a 10 year lease.
Owen Holder, industrial partner at the Leeds office of property consultancy Knight Frank, said: “This is a tremendous deal, which underlines the growing reputation of Glasshoughton as a premier distribution centre in Yorkshire. DHL is a world leader in its field, so this is a great coup for Glasshoughton.”
