Bank of England appoints new deputy agent for region

THE Bank of England has appointed a new deputy agent for the Yorkshire region.
Marilyn Watson, 31, from Scarborough, who replaces Tanveer Hussain, will work alongside agent Paul Fullerton representing the Bank of England across the region and reporting intelligence on the business climate in Yorkshire back to the Bank’s Monetary Policy Committee ahead of its monthly meeting to decide on interest rates.
Ms Watson is a Cambridge economics graduate who has worked for JP Morgan Asset Management as an investment and strategy writer.
