Media Buzz: Green scoops gaming client; Southdale choose Brahm and more

Southdale HomesA MAJOR player in the provision of social housing and publicly funded build projects in the North has appointed Leeds-based Brahm to help develop a new brand identity and marketing strategy.

Southdale has seen its business diversify in recent years into schools, medical facilities and extra care schemes and the agency has been appointed to develop a brand to reflect the change.

Southdale managing director Paul Moore said: “We are a business which has a young and dynamic board, a company structure designed to deliver sustainable growth over many years and we needed a new brand which reflects our values, performance record and the future ambitions of the business.”

Robin Horsfield, board director at Brahm, said: “We’re thrilled to have been appointed by the company, and have already started working with the board on their marketing strategy which will emphasise their position as a market leader in their sector.”

GREEN Communications has been brought on board by a leading gaming machine developer to help raise its profile in the UK leisure market.

Mazooma Games specialise in developing a range of machines and online solutions for clients including Coral and Sky Vegas.

As well as servicing the UK market Nottingham-based Mazooma also develop products for export markets, achieving success in the German market and more recently in the online gaming market.

Wakefield-based Green Communications has also been briefed to help launch a range of new products over the next 12 months.

Account manager Thomas Atcheson said: “Green has a strong track record in the UK gaming and leisure market through our work with Leeds-based Gamestec and we will be using that knowledge to help Mazooma gain further traction in its key markets.”

Crabbie'sTHE Leeds office of full service marketing agency england has produced a television and radio campaign for one of the country’s up and coming alcoholic brands.

Crabbie’s Alcoholic Ginger Beer adverts will run across ITV1, Channel 4, Five and all major satellite channels in the run-up to Christmas.

The 20 and 30 second commercials form part of a wider campaign that includes radio advertising and sponsorship of the ITV1 British Comedy Awards being hosted by Jonathan Ross on December 12.

Tony Stanton, chief executive of england, said: “The TV and radio campaign we have produced on behalf of Halewood for the Crabbie’s brand has already received positive feedback since it was first aired on national television earlier this month. We have created an extensive and quirky campaign to really drive the brand over the festive period.”
