Appointments: Richards moves to Transline Resource Group; Director hire for Oak Holdings; and more

SUPPLY chain recruitment firm Transline Resource Group has made a key addition to its sales team with the hire of former Blue Arrow corporate account director Jason Richards.

He takes up the role of operations director responsible for sales at the Halifax company.

OAK Holdings, operator of the Rother Valley Country Park in Yorkshire, has recruited Ian Cunningham as an associate director to develop its leisure activities.

Mr Cunningham founded The Real Live Leisure Company which built and operated two aquariums before being sold in 1999.

He then went on to work as operations director of the Eden Project before founding another start up leisure company – Blue Reef Leisure which focused on purchasing and improving under performing visitor attractions.

Blue Reef was sold to the Spanish Leisure company Aspro in 2010.

PKF, the accountants and business advisers, has promoted James Hamilton to forensic services partner, covering an area including Yorkshire and the North East.

Starting his career at KPMG in 1995, followed by PwC in 2006, he joined PKF as a director in 2007 and has over 12 years experience of forensic accountancy.

He is regularly instructed by clients to report on lost profits or revenues, post acquisition price adjustments or business valuations as part of commercial or family disputes. His work also includes the preparation of accountancy evidence for criminal proceedings, fraud investigations and employer covenant advice to pension scheme trustees.
