Armitage moves from Hammonds to Cobbetts

THE Leeds office of law firm Cobbetts has strengthened its corporate team with the appointment of David Armitage as partner.
Mr Armitage joins the firm in January having spent 23 years at Hammonds in Leeds and London where he was senior corporate partner and head of the firm’s international board.
His new role will see him advising corporate clients in Europe and North America on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, IPOs and commercial ventures.
Mr Armitage said: “Cobbetts is an entrepreneurial firm with a global capability and a strong client base.
