Media Buzz: Turn Key secures place in Top 100 agency survey; New online concept director for fuse8 and more

TURN Key is celebrating after securing 88th place in the Top 100 Agency listings outside London.

The Leeds-based agency fought off competition from more than 160 marketing companies after the Recommended Agency Register (RAR) received over 250 entries.

Agencies in the Top 100 are ranked according to turnover, gross profit, annual growth and turnover per employee.

Turn Key has seen significant expansion aswell as a recent employment drive.

Managing director Nik Entwistle said: “Being placed 88th in the RAR Top 100 Agencies list is a great achievement for the agency and is testament to all the hard work our team has done this past year.

“We are immensely proud of what we have achieved and we look forward to the opportunities 2010 will bring.”

Fuse8LEEDS-based agency fuse8 has appointed an online concept director as it continues to develop its full service digital marketing offer.

Grzegorz Kozakiewicz joins from Allen Design Group where he was head of digital creative.

His previous roles have seen Mr Kozakiewicz deliver projects for the BBC, Coca Cola and the NHS. At fuse8 he will enhance the online creative offering whilst working within the agency’s innovations team to develop new commercial opportunities for the fuse8’s clients.

Harrogate Spa WaterHARROGATE Spa Water has appointed Brahm to manage its consumer and trade PR.

Brahm will focus on raising the brand’s trade profile for the next 12 months.

The brand, owned by Harrogate-based Waterbrands, was one of only two beverage brands recently named as one of the UK’s fastest growing food and drink companies by The Grocer.

Words&PicturesEDITORIAL designers Words&Pictures has appointed an internal communications specialist to spearhead its digital offering in 2010.

Henry Kinross will lead the Otley-based firm’s business development team.

Mr Kinross, a former sales manager with Leeds communications agency Logistik joins Words&Pictures after two years as an independent digital development consultant.
