The Merrion Centre, in Leeds, has unveiled its newest culinary addition, Pho 37, which will offer diners authentic Vietnamese street food.

It is owned and operated by Chi Dang, a third-generation expert in Vietnamese cuisine, and is due to open its doors to the public in July 2024. Pho 37 already has a base in Headingley.

Khoa Van, a spokesman for the business, said: “We are incredibly excited to bring truly authentic Vietnamese cuisine to the Merrion Centre.

“Our mission is to offer an unforgettable dining experience that transports our guests to the bustling streets of Vietnam, right here in the heart of Leeds.”

The new venue, featuring 50 seats, will create 20 new jobs. For special occasions there will be two VIP function rooms on the upper level where guests can enjoy Karaoke with a selection of specialist Vietnamese beers.

Charles Newman, associate director for Town Centre Securities PLC (TCS), owner of the Merrion Centre, said: “We are pleased to welcome Pho 37 to the Merrion Centre.

“As the Arena Quarter continues to thrive, the addition of diverse international cuisines further enhances the vibrant culture of the area.
