‘Prime’ industrial site next to airport up for sale

A 2.73 acre flat development site adjacent to Doncaster Sheffield Airport has hit the market.

CBRE, which has been instructed to sell Vulcan Park, said the site is ideal for an owner occupier looking to build a bespoke property or for a scheme comprising a variety of units and sizes from 1,000 sq ft up to 25,000 sq ft.

Local occupiers include BAE Systems, Textron Cessna, Lufthansa Resource Technical Training, Aerospace NDT, Anglo World Cargo and 2 Excel.

Jacques Esterhuizen, associate director, CBRE’s industrial agency Leeds team, said: “We are pleased to be appointed alongside Gent Visick to sell Vulcan Park. The site is an attractive proposition, due largely to its location within walking distance of Doncaster Sheffield Airport. Well located sites of this nature and size are far and few between and we are expecting strong interest.

“The development presents prospective buyers with many options, including creating a bespoke unit within an established and popular industrial estate. Planning permission is also in place for general industrial, storage and distribution uses.”
