People: Key partner promotion at RSM; Board appointments for tech recruitment group; and more

Audit, tax and consulting firm RSM has promoted Hugh Fairclough to partner, boosting the audit practice in Yorkshire and the North East.
Fairclough, who is based at the firm’s office in Leeds, joined the firm as a trainee in 2003 and specialises in working with regional businesses ranging from owner managed to listed companies on key audit matters. In addition, he has key expertise within the leisure and hospitality, food manufacturing, financial and professional services sectors.

iSource Group, the Leeds-based recruitment company that specialises in IT and digital appointments, has welcomed non-executive directors Andy Brown and Jon Newall to the board.
Brown has implemented successful change strategies as senior executive for companies such as ASDA, Boots, Sky TV and The Burton Group. He has also delivered large scale transformation programmes for businesses of all sizes across the UK and North America and was the interim chief executive that turned around Wakefield-based YPO.
Newall is managing director of insurance broker Lockyers, which has doubled in size in the last three-years.
Managing director Geoff Shepherd said: “When I made the decision to build up our board, I already had those people in mind. I knew that Andy and Jon would help me to meet with the challenges that lay ahead. I’ve worked with them both previously so I know that they have the experience, skills, approach and drive to help us to navigate through this growth period and develop a solid strategy to keep us heading in the right direction”.

Carter Jonas has appointed David Sinclair as head of lettings in its York office.
In his new role, he will focus on lettings in and around York, working with new and existing landlords, all scales of investors as well as a host of tenants.
He said: “As a sought-after location amongst investors and tenants, York is renowned for its buoyancy and I relish the challenge of working in this busy market. Carter Jonas has an outstanding reputation in York and I look forward to growing the lettings side of the business.”
