Cadbury Easter weekend
Take the kids along to Treasurer’s House in York this weekend to enjoy a Cadbury Egg Hunt. The National Trust property is filled with treasures which you will all get to see whilst helping Bunny solve the clues on the hunt. The kids can claim yummy prizes at the end, before you can go onto explore the rounds of the property. Hunts take place between 11am-4pm. Can’t get to Treasurer’s House? Hacienda Classical
The Hacienda Classical are taking to the stage at the First Direct Arena in Leeds on Friday night. The show, which is now in its second year, recreates the seminal tracks that defined a generation at the original Hacienda club in Manchester. The show kicks off from 7pm. Find out more here.

The Full Monty
Head along to the Lyceum Theatre in Sheffield this weekend to enjoy The Full Monty on stage. Based on the hit film, the show welcomes stars Gary Lucy, Chris Fountain and Anthony Lewis alongside a cast of fourteen who tell the story of a group of unemployed men in Sheffield who go from steel workers to members of a male striptease act. Mad Hatter’s Easter Tea Party
The Grand Hotel in York are hosting their very own Mad Hatter’s Tea Party on Sunday. The venue will be celebrating Easter with edible candles, chocolate clocks, pink mushrooms, lollypops and the usual afternoon favourites including scones, cupcakes and macaroons. World Snooker Championships 2017
The World Snooker Championships kick off at Sheffield’s Crucible Theatre on Saturday. The event will see the world’s top snooker players compete, including Ronnie O’Sullivan, Anthony McGill and Mark Selby, in what is to be a gripping day out. An exhibition honouring the vital role of women in the First World War is now open at Leeds Industrial Museum at Armley Mills. The event explores the variety of roles that women took on in Leeds during the time and includes stories of women working in the manufacturing industry, as well as the opportunity to learn more about the lives lost in the 1916 factory explosion. Scarborough Easter National Scooter Rally
If you have more knowledge of scooters than just Lambretta’s and Vespa’s, you are bound to enjoy this event taking place at The Grand Hall in Scarborough. There will be a custom show and parts fair, as well as retro stalls selling everything from clothes to records, as well as the opportunity to admire modern and classic scooters.
