Top 60 law firm sees double digit growth

Law firm Freeths has seen revenues grow to £72m another year of double digit growth.

This is another consecutive year of growth, with Freeths reporting £63.8m in income last year.

As a result of this, it said all staff had received a bonus payment in May.

The Leeds and Sheffield offices of Freeths have both experienced large growth in staff hires over the past year, with Leeds at a 60% increase and Sheffield at 20%, it said.

With 11 offices across the UK, Freeths has a presence in the majority of the main cities and has seen staff numbers increase from 683 in 2015 to a current total of 784.

John May, managing partner of the Leeds and Sheffield offices, commented: “The news of our financial achievements, locally and nationally, is testament to the hard work of our staff. It has been a busy year of growth across the firm and we work hard as a team to deliver the results our clients want, whilst being in the fortunate position to also be able to invest time and resource to the local community and charity initiatives.”
