Rooftop bar and restaurant planned for Trinity Leeds

Plans for a new rooftop bar and restaurant at Trinity Leeds have been launched.

The Potting Shed Bar and Secret Garden has been launched by the Burning Night Group, the Leeds based business behind Bierkeller German-themed bars across the North and Midlands.

BurningNight provides design and management services to Potting Shed brand owner, Ormsborough Limited.

Ormsborough owns and operates two Potting Sheds in Bingley and Beverley and is due to open two more in Northallerton and Guiseley during the year.

Ormsborough has granted Burning Night a licence to use the brand as part of a multi-million pound investment.

The top floor space will be transformed into a large bar and restaurant, able to cater for more than 600 customers internally with a further 100 on the rooftop.

It will house three distinct bars – The Potting Shed, Orchard and Secret Garden, with an entrance on Bond Street.

“We know the city well, because we already own a Bierkeller Entertainment Complex here, and the Potting Shed and Secret Garden will give people the chance to experience and enjoy a different side of our business.

“Our Potting Shed concept has been a big success since we launched the first in Bingley two years ago and the Leeds site, as our first city centre one, will have all the characteristic garden features plus the Secret Garden which is something special we’re creating as a first here.”

The project is being backed by major industry investor Downing LLP.
