Get ready for the time of your life as Dirty Dancing celebrates 30th anniversary

Cult movie classic Dirty Dancing, which is marking 30 years since its original release, is being celebrated in South Yorkshire this weekend as part of a Sixties Weekender with interactive entertainment, live performances, vintage retailers, street food, and 60’s themed cocktails.

The film will be hitting the screens at Cannon Hall Farm in Barnsley on Saturday during the event between 5 and 11pm.

Audience members are encouraged to arrive in costume and take part in a 3,000 strong dance collective, led by local dancers and hosted by Yorkshire-based performers.

The six-hour event from organisers Sneaky Experience includes a headline DJ playing 60s classics, live music and show-stopping dancers.

Alongside American Diners and Street food stalls, will be licensed bars operating throughout serving cocktails and local beer, onsite make-up station, vintage clothing and tea rooms plus photo booths to capture you having the time of your life.
