Traffic alert: Lanes closed on M62 westbound in West Yorkshire

Lanes are closed on the M62 westbound after a vehicle fire in West Yorkshire, causing long delays on the route.

There are reportedly long delays on the M62 after a vehicle fire forced two lanes to close between J23 and J22.

Traffic is passing the scene in one lane, according to Highways England, however due to the delays, road users are advised to plan ahead, leaving plenty of extra travelling time and to consider alternative routes where possible.
