Marketing agency snaps up rival

CNS Media, which has offices in Nottingham and Chesterfield, has bought Nottingham-based Achieve Media.

Following the acquisition, CNS Media’s team has grown to 11 people.

CNS Media, which was established in 2006, is a full-service design, web design and marketing agency which helps clients create and implement marketing campaigns.

Director of CNS Media, Andy Hattersley, said: “This is an important and exciting time for CNS Media and we are all really excited about the tremendous potential this merger provides for the teams at CNS Media and Achieve Media. The new business is truly providing a full service in all media planning and buying by an experienced team of media professionals.”

Ev Mascarenhas, owner of Achieve Media, said: “The two businesses are a natural fit and the merged business is perfectly placed to help clients deliver cost effective results across any relevant media.

“This is a fantastic outcome for both businesses and I look forward to working with the CNS Media team.”

Marcus-Adam Tuck from the corporate law team at Fraser Brown, advised the shareholders of Achieve Media. He said: “The two firms have a natural synergy and having worked collaboratively on a number of projects, this transaction is an ideal step for both firms and will enable the growth of CNS Media’s national client base.

“I’d like to wish the team at CNS Media the best of luck in this exciting stage of growth.”

The transaction of the acquisition was also supported by chartered accountants Clayton & Brewill based in Nottingham.
