City limbers up for outdoor salsa festival

Leopold Square in Sheffield will take centre stage for the last Salsa In The Square of the year this Bank Holiday Sunday.

The region’s largest outdoor salsa extravaganza is being headlined by popular Latin band Mojito and the free, nine hour open air dance spectacular kicks off at 5pm with free salsa lessons, dance demos and DJs.
Salsa In The Square runs outdoors from 5pm until 10pm and then moves into Cubana for the remaining four hours for a Barrio Latino Bank Holiday Special Fiesta.

Adrian Bagnoli, Cubana co-owner, said: “This year’s Salsa In The Square events have been the most popular we’ve ever done.
“We’re expecting another great day this Bank Holiday Sunday.”

Salsa In The Square is organised by Cubana, RCDance and Leopold Square.
