Private sector rallies for Leeds City Region ahead of MIPIM 2017
Private sector support for Leeds City Region’s presence at the UK’s largest property and investment conference is continuing to gather pace with 10 new businesses confirming their sponsorship ahead of MIPIM UK 2017.
The developers behind Leeds’ Climate Innovation District, Citu, Logic Leeds, Muse, The Majestic, Rushbond, and a new motorway service area at Junction 45 of the M1, Extra MSA Group, have all confirmed their support for the City Region’s presence at both MIPIM UK 2017 in October and MIPIM 2018 in March.
Alongside these developers GVA, NJL Consulting, Rex Proctor and Partners, Shulmans, SWECO, the Universities of Bradford, Leeds and Huddersfield, and Quod have all signed up to sponsor and be part of the Leeds City Region delegation.
They will join previously announced City Region sponsors Addleshaw Goddard, Bond Dickinson, Caddick Group, CEG, Munroe K, Pegasus Group, Scarborough International Properties and Town Centre Securities in promoting the strengths of the region to the influential audience of investors, developers and occupiers at the expo at Olympia in London from 18-19 October.
Roger Marsh, chair of Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership, which organises the City Region’s presence at MIPIM, said: “I’m delighted Leeds City Region’s private sector delegation for both MIPIM UK 2017 and MIPIM 2018 is continuing to grow. It’s fantastic to see so many businesses such as GVA, NJL Consulting, Shulmans and Quod continue to champion our City Region. However I’m also pleased to welcome new sponsors including Rex Proctor and Partners and SWECO to our delegation. Without all of our other private sector partners, our MIPIM Programme would be impossible. This conference provides us an opportunity for public and private sectors to stand united and demonstrate that our region is on the precipice of something truly special and that now is the time to become part of our success story.”
