Work starts on £3.6m Ilkley office development

Construction is underway on a £3.6m 30,000 sq ft office scheme in West Yorkshire.
The three-story, high-quality office development with surface level car parking is being built on a site off Lower Railway Road in Ilkley for Leeds-based development company Oakapple.
The contract is the latest project that building firm CPUK Group has been appointed to deliver for the developer.
It follows the £1.4m Greenmoss Medical Centre development in Scholar Green, Stoke-on-Trent, which CPUK Group constructed for Oakapple’s primary care developments arm.
CPUK Group managing director Steve Burke said: “Following the successful handover of the health sector development at Scholar Green we are delighted to have been appointed by Oakapple to construct this high-quality office project in Ilkley.
“It is pleasing that we are seeing a growing level of repeat business as our order book continues to develop in all sectors.
“It is also the latest in a rising number of office projects we have been appointed to build across the North of England.”
The Ilkley office development, designed by Leeds-based Niemen Architects, is expected to be completed in December.
