Biggest out-of-town office sale in Leeds this year completes

The sale of Brabazon House, the largest out-of-town office building in Leeds to be sold so far in 2017, has completed.

The 28,350 sq ft property at Turnberry Park, Gildersome, was owned by the Police and Crime Commissioner for West Yorkshire and has been sold off a guide price of £2.25m.

Carter Towler director Richard Fraser said: “It has taken us just six months to find a suitable buyer and negotiate the deal which is fantastic for such a large out-of-town office property like this.”

Brabazon House was recently vacated by West Yorkshire Police who have moved to headquarters at Normanton, Wakefield.

Fraser added: “We were really pleased to be acting on behalf of West Yorkshire Police with regard to this particular property. We did in fact sell them the building 10 years ago, so it seems fitting that we were able to assist them with the sale now.”

The buyer of the property has not yet been disclosed.
