Ashley Bolser is the managing director of Bolser Agency, based in Leeds.

Bolser is a digital marketeer, with a background in response based advertising, working to help deliver marketing and communication strategies for national and international clients with a particular emphasis on digital, web and mobile marketing.
Where do you live/where are you from?
Addingham Moorside and I was born in Adel, a true “Loiner”

What is your favourite place to visit in Yorkshire and why?
I love the waterfront of the canal and rivers of Leeds, so much industrial heritage and a great place to bike, run or walk.

What is still on your “to do” list in the region?
So, so much! More walks on the coast and North York Moors, more cycling, especially day 2 of the TDF, which I’ve never done

What is the most memorable meal you’ve ever had in Yorkshire?
Fish and Chips with Otley Rugby Club juniors at the Magpie fish and chip shop in Whitby, the standard by which all F’n’C meals are to be judged

What is your most Yorkshire trait?
Hum, probably my Yorkshire accent which I turn on and off as needed

Favourite piece of trivia about the region.
We won more Olympic medals than Australia in the London Olympics

What/who is your favourite cultural icon to come out of Yorkshire?
David Hockney, when asked by Melvin Bragg if after four decades living in LA he still felt he was a Yorkshireman, his response “don’t be daft”

Worst experience or thing about Yorkshire?
Transport in to Leeds and to and from London

What is the most overrated thing about Yorkshire?
