IT firm on acquisition drive as it aims for £15m turnover

Blue Logic is on the hunt for acquisition opportunities as it looks to boost its position as a major player in the managed IT services and accounting solutions sector.

This follows a successful period of growth in 2017, including a 20% increase in staff to 100 employees and several large client and partnership wins.

Blue Logic has grown its turnover to £7m, and expects to drive this to £15m by 2025.

It said the expansion will be achieved through an effective acquisition strategy as well as expanding the team with key hires and continued development of internal talent.

Dave Helm, commercial director, said: “Having achieved our ambitious growth plans over the past 12 years, we are now actively looking for successful regionally based technology companies with a contracted client base or complementary technology focused businesses that are open to potential acquisition conversations – our plans for the future will be achieved by expansion through acquisition in addition to our organic growth path.”

Managing director Mark Ambler added: “2018 will be considered a dynamic year in the history of Blue Logic with investment plans in place, some significant new customer wins and a recruitment drive across all divisions as we look for more of the right people to join us at this very exciting time in our development.”
