£8m refurb of Leeds city centre office building completes
Work on an £8m refurbishment project at 7 Park Row, which sits at the heart of Leeds city centre’s financial area, has been completed.
Working on behalf of CBRE Global Investors, Harris CM has transformed all 12 storeys of the building as well as adding cantilevered 1.5m extensions on three sides of the upper floors, which has created more than 500sq m of additional floorspace.
The building now offers eight floors of Grade A office space, with a large shell area on the ground floor for occupation by a restaurant, and its two basement floors have planning consent for a variety of uses including a restaurant, bar or gymnasium.
A double height ground floor reception area has also been created and glazed curtain walling has been installed across all floors.
Built in the 1970s, the Baltic brown granite clad building was originally the former regional headquarters of Lloyds Bank and incorporated one of the largest high security cash depositories outside London.

The development is now being marketed by Savills.
