Global furniture retailer signs lease at retail park

One of the largest furniture retailers globally has signed a lease for a new store at a Leeds retail park.
Natuzzi, represented by Savills, has acquired a premises at Junction 27 Retail Park in Birstal, owned by Standard Life Investments.
Founded in Italy almost 60 years ago, Natuzzi distributes its products in the UK, Europe, US, Asia, UAE and Australia.
It has agreed a new 10-year lease for the 4,973 sq ft store which will become the brand’s fourteenth standalone site in the UK.
Junction 27 Retail Park comprises 10 units totalling 126,750 sq ft with occupiers including Barker and Stonehouse, Furniture Village, Sofology, Harveys and Currys PC World.
Catherine Barnard, associate in the retail team at Savills, said: “We are pleased to be supporting Natuzzi’s expansion with the acquisition of this new store at one of West Yorkshire’s busiest and most successful retail parks. The brand will be an excellent addition to the existing retailer line up at the scheme.”
