Private sector firms show support for major property conference

Private sector support for Leeds City Region’s attendance at the leading property conference MIPIM has continued to grow since the launch of the partnership opportunities.

Sponsors recently signed up to the 2018/19 programme include Fuse Studio, Quod, Pegasus Group, Extra MSA, Morgans City Living, Carter Jonas and Henry Boot Developments, all joining the previously announced Munroe K, the developer of the White Rose Office Park.

Roger Marsh OBE, Chair of Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (the LEP), which co-ordinates the City Region’s presence at MIPIM, said:“I’m delighted that these businesses have recognised the benefit of being part of our private sector delegation for MIPIM. The continued and growing support of our private sector partners provides the overwhelming majority of funding for the City Region’s attendance at both MIPIM UK and MIPIM, and ensures that we deliver a topical programme that highlights our scale, opportunities and successes to an influential audience of investors, occupiers and decision makers.

“Our approach to MIPIM is a true public-private partnership through which the region is able to attract further investment and as result deliver inclusive growth for the benefit of everyone who lives and works in the region.”

Tim Waring, Director at Quod, added: “Quod is pleased to pledge its continued support to the Leeds City Region. We have been part of the delegation for a number of years and have seen first-hand the impact the region’s presence can have. Being part of the delegation and attending the conference has offered us the opportunity to highlight some of the exciting projects we’ve been advising on within the region. We’re proud to be part of the delegation and to be working with public sector partners to showcase our region.”
