Accountancy firm announces launch of third office

A Yorkshire accountancy firm has announced the opening of a third office in Skipton.

DSC Accountants was founded in Harrogate in the 1960’s and opened its second office in Leeds in 2016.

The new Skipton office is part of the firm’s growth plans and will be headed up by Janet Corbridge, who joined DSC in 2011 after training within the audit department at KPMG in Leeds.

John Campbell, managing director of DSC Accountants, said: “The decision to open a third office builds on the success of our expansion into Leeds and our mergers with two well-established Yorkshire practices two years ago.

“Skipton is ideally placed for serving clients in both North and West Yorkshire, particularly those with businesses in the Bradford and Craven areas.

“Janet and her team will be responsible for building our client base in that part of the region and the new office will also make it easier for them to service existing clients who are based nearby.”

Corbridge added: “This is an exciting period for DSC and I am looking forward to playing an instrumental role in the growth of the firm.

“Recent investment has also included the recruitment of three graduate trainee accountants and a new bookkeeper, all strategic steps towards creating a strong and sustainable future for a company that has been serving businesses in the region for more than half a century.”
