Construction underway at industrial warehouse development

Oakwell Securities has commenced work on an industrial and warehouse unit scheme of new-build small units in Bradford.

Known as Alpha Court, the scheme sits on a site next to Prologis Park at the head of the M606 motorway with access from Rooley Lane (A6177), the South Bradford ring road.

The scheme comprises seven units with sizes ranging from 1,350 to 2,000 sq ft arranged around a central courtyard.

The units are being built to the latest energy saving standards and incorporate office and welfare facilities together with full height electric loading doors and LED lighting.

Completion is scheduled for Spring 2019 and the units are offered on ‘easy in, easy out’ lease terms.

Matthew Austin of the joint letting agents, Robert Austin & Co., said: “This scheme follows on from a virtually identical scheme built by Oakwell Securities at Normanton, Junction 31 M62 which has proved very successful and is fully let. We are receiving strong interest in Alpha Court and have already reserved one unit”.

Josh Holmes of Carter Towler, the joint agents, added: “We are delighted to be involved on an exciting scheme in a prime location and we anticipate strong tenant demand”.
