Trio of businesses secure new deals at North Yorkshire business park

More than 12,000 sq ft of space has been snapped up by a trio of companies at a business park situated near Harrogate.

Nomad Catering has taken a 2,500 sq ft unit on a 10-year lease, upgrading from a smaller site elsewhere in the North Yorkshire town.

As part of its business expansion, parts manufacturer Couplings Services Limited also took a 5,000 sq ft unit on a 10-year lease. Finally, Earthmill Maintenance has secured a 4,800 sq ft facility on the park.

Each unit features a steel portal frame construction set beneath a pitched roof, with high eaves and roller shutters.

Follifoot Ridge Business Park is located south of Harrogate and provides industrial units, suitable for a range of uses – from manufacturing, to storage and distribution.

Property consultancy Carter Jonas completed all three of the lettings.  

Matt Bredin, senior surveyor at Carter Jonas, said: “The flurry of lettings at Follifoot Ridge Business Park demonstrates the high demand for new good quality industrial premises not only near Harrogate, but across the North Yorkshire region.

“There are a number of units currently under offer due to complete soon, which will take the park to a 100% occupancy rate. This further demonstrates the lack of supply for quality industrial premises in the Harrogate area and will inevitably push rents on existing stock higher.”
