US software company makes move to city centre office scheme

A US-based business management software firm is making the move to Sheffield, taking space at the office building Acero.
NASDAQ-listed Mindbody has snapped up 7,400 sq ft of office space on a seven-year lease at Sheffield Digital Campus.
APAM, the specialist real estate asset and investment manager, secured the new tenant. Mindbody joins current occupiers including Atkins, NOCN, Centara and Spaces.
Pete Owen, senior asset manager at APAM, said: “We acquired Acero as our knowledge of the Sheffield market and the quality of the building gave us confidence that we could attract new occupiers. We have initiated improvement works to the reception including new external signage and upgrades to the basement amenities.
“This latest letting to Mindbody demonstrates the building’s appeal and, with the remainder of this floor currently under offer, will leave us with only a single floor available.”
Agents on the property are CPP, Colloco and Knight Frank Sheffield.
Rob Darrington, partner at CPP, added: “This asset was a great match for Mindbody – and their commitment to a seven-year lease is great news for Sheffield and the regional economy.
“The building offers an excellent location and excellent services and is fast approaching full occupancy. Any interested parties should get in touch with the CPP team.”
