Order book at listed engineering group rises £59m

Renew Holdings, the Leeds-based engineering services group with divisions across energy, infrastructure an environment, has grown its order book by £59m in the last 12 months.

In an AGM update published this morning, the chairman of the listed firm, David Forbes, said: “Trading for the first quarter of the year has been in line with the Board’s expectations. The Group order book at 31 December 2018 was £570m (31 December 2017: £511m).

“The Engineering Services order book stood at £522m (31 December 2017: £433m).”

Since the year end, the firm has secured its renewals for the Network Rail Infrastructure Projects Frameworks.

Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee John Bishop has indicated his intention to retire from the Board. Forbes said that the search for a new board member.
