Tech platform sees 25% boost in turnover as users surpass 200,000

Panintelligence, the business intelligence and data analytics software developer, has reported a 25% rise in turnover after surpassing the 200,000 user milestone for the first time in its five-year history.

The Leeds-based business has grown its turnover to £1.8m in the year ending December 2018.

During this period, user numbers climbed to more than 200,000 and 25 new licensed partners have been added to the customer base. As a result, nine new members of staff have been hired.

The Panintelligence Pi software, a cloud-based business intelligence (BI) and analytics platform, is white labelled across a wide range of industry sectors, from retail and education to local government and healthcare, to provide real-time BI dashboards and predictive analytics.

Zandra Moore, Panintelligence CEO, said: “The software business is all about creating a valuable unique platform that many businesses need and want, and over years of development and improvement that’s what our dashboard and analytics products have become.

“We’re enabling small and medium-scale businesses to release insights and value from their data in real time with zero impact on security, and without the upfront costs of an enterprise-level data project.”

Founded in 2014, Panintelligence has a background in the credit and financial services sector and its products lead in data security and compliance. The Pi platform sits within clients’ own data environments where it securely provides data visualisations.

Moore added: “Data security is the number one issue for CTOs right now, and we have a really strong story in that area by virtue of the way our software operates without moving or duplicating data.

“That’s a factor in our rapid growth. Our tie-up with Sage software, launched in November, has given us a new route to sales via every Sage 50 customer in the UK, but we’ve also deployed with retail clients globally in the last quarter, and we are seeing increasingly international white label projects through our network of 100 UK resellers and vendors too.”
