National law firm to expand corporate team as deals hit £300m

National law firm Mills & Reeve is expanding the corporate team at its Leeds office after securing client wins and advising on deals worth more than £300m in the last 12 months.

Deals included several multi-million pound transactions for a healthcare provider. In addition, the team advised on AIM flotations and funding raisings for public listed companies, private-equity backed deals in the insurance sector and transactions in multiple jurisdictions including Europe, South Africa, the US and India.

The team has secured also secured a range of new clients particularly in the healthcare, insurance and technology sectors.

The Leeds-office recently joined forces with TheBusinessdesk.com to launch the Yorkshire Top Tech which celebrated the region’s most cutting-edge and innovative technology companies that are putting Yorkshire on the map as a growing hub for technological development.
