Appointments: George F White adds to team; Two new recruits for Iplas; and more

CHARTERED surveyors, land and property agents George F White has added to its Yorkshire team with the promotion of Tom Mason to partner and the appointment of Anna Fell as rural surveyor.

Mr Mason joined the firm last year to launch the Shiptonthorpe Office, which covers Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.

Ms Fell has joined her brother Louis Fell, partner, and her uncle Hugh Fell, managing partner, at the firm. She graduated from Cambridge with a degree in land economy and was working for a land and property agency until she moved to George F White’s Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire office to help develop the business.

PAUL Harris has joined Halifax-based Iplas, the manufacturer of high performance recycled plastics, as sales and marketing director.

Nigel Croad has also joined the company as business development manager.

The appointments have allowed Gavin Wray, previously Iplas’ sales and marketing director, to take up the new role of director of specialist sales.

Grahame Hall, Iplas chief executive, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Paul and Nigel aboard. Their appointments are key elements in our strategy, which involves growing our turnover almost four-fold to £15m within four years.”

Mark Johnson, Yorkshire BankA NEW private banking partner has been appointed to the expanding team at Yorkshire Bank North Yorkshire Financial Solutions Centre (FSC).

Mark Johnson will work with integrated financial solutions teams at the York-based FSC to provide private banking services to high net worth individuals and expand the portfolio.

His appointment to the FSC, led by managing partner Rick Warburton, is the second in a matter of weeks, following that of independent financial adviser Joanne Miller.
