Retail agents to market 200-1,500 sq ft units in city centre

Carter Towler’s retail agency team has been recruited to promote Central Arcade on Briggate, Leeds.
There are currently four units available in the arcade ranging from 200-1,500 sq ft. All the vacant units are on the ground floor with the largest being located directly opposite the entrance to Trinity Leeds.
Carter Towler, which is itself based in Leeds, employs 50 people in total. In the past 12 months the company has been involved in over 300 industrial, commercial, investment, property management and building services deals and currently manages over 3,500 properties for its clients nationwide.
Head of Retail at the company, Pete Bradbury, said: “We are extremely excited to have been appointed as agents for Central Arcade.
“As a relatively small player in the retail sector this represents a significant win for us. We will be providing valuable local knowledge to London-based chartered surveyors Goodsir Commercial who we are working alongside.
“While the properties in Central Arcade are very well designed and maintained, it is their fantastic position in the heart of Leeds’ retail district that sets them apart. The arcade has a vibrant mix of both national and independent retailer tenants. There has already been considerable interest and we are confident it won’t be long before we are announcing details of a new tenant or two.”
The entrance to Central Arcade is adjacent to House of Fraser. The three-storey development links shoppers to Central Road, the Corn Exchange and Leeds Market. It has over 20 units that are occupied by businesses including Greggs, Retro Clothing, World of Dance and Flamingos Coffee House.
Carter Towler’s retail team, consisting of Bradbury and Max Vause, acts for a range of clients across the North of England such as The Co-Operative, Wm Morrisons and a number of national and local retail developers and landlords.
