Workspace provider opens first Yorkshire site

Global workspace provider Spaces has opened the doors of its first flexible workspace in Leeds, at 7 Park Row.

Setting up in Knight Frank’s Leeds office, Spaces has been leased 25,000 sq ft of space within the iconic building, formerly the Leeds headquarters of Lloyds Bank.

The digital sector is now worth £1bn and Spaces said its entrance into “Yorkshire’s silicon valley”  would provide a boost to the city’s co-working market.

Spaces has taken the first five upper floors of the building.

Last week it was announced the building’s ground floor 7,500 sq ft unit will be occupied by The Head of Steam, a bar renowned for its wide selection of craft beers.

Spaces said: “The way we work is evolving, and whether you’re a small business, entrepreneur or working for a corporation, Spaces offers all the contemporary requirements of a varied workplace, including private offices, meeting rooms and flexible co-working spaces.”
