Stars donate to help break Firecracker Ball’s £3m fundraising barrier

Huge names from the world of entertainment, business, sport and beyond have united to donate a record number of exclusive items and once-in-a-lifetime auction prize opportunities for the Firecracker Ball, in support of Barnardo’s.

This takes place at Rudding Park on Saturday 9 November. Dame Darcy Bussell, Heather Small and Bruce Oldfield, Gabby and Kenny Logan, Matthew Wolfenden and Christopher Biggins are among the celebrities offering personalised prizes.

A few lucky bidders will have the chance to go aboard a three-day luxury yacht charter in the bay of Palma, while sport fans will have an array of prizes to bid for including signed sporting memorabilia and a fantastic luxury weekend in Monaco, with access to the Monaco Grand Prix. T

his incredible prize offers one lucky bidder flights and accommodation at the renowned five-star Grand Hyatt Martinez Hotel.

Music fans will not only have a chance to bid for concert tickets and see the likes of The Who and Snow Patrol. They can also see legend Rod Stewart when two lucky winners will receive  VIP tickets to his concert in Leeds on 11 December.

The prize includes early VIP entry with great seats; Black and White lounge access, a glass of Laurent-Perrier Champagne on arrival, and a three-course fine dine meal.

Fans of Christopher Biggins have the opportunity to enjoy a five-course dinner at the home of Phil Taylor, or the winner’s own home, for up to eight people on a mutually agreeable weekend date.

Also up for grabs is a special three-night  Michelin star dining experience in Girona, a three-day stay in the unique ICEHOTEL in Lapland, tickets to ladies day at Chester Festival, a Bayswater bag in Rosewater and a bespoke Sonata London silk dress.

The Firecracker Ball has become the most significant event in the Yorkshire social calendar helping to change the lives of thousands of children and young people across Yorkshire. Since 2002, the ball has raised almost £2.8m for Barnardo’s causes.
