New name for Yorkshire software firm

CODA, the Harrogate-based business software company, is to change its name to UNIT4.
The move follows a series of acquisitions made by Coda’s Dutch parent company Unit 4 Agresso, which has seen it become Europe’s second largest ERP supplier.
The rebranding of the company and its subsidiaries represents a key component in the finalisation of the company’s integrations and the start of its next growth stage.
Anwen Robinson, UK managing director for UNIT4, said: “The rebrand gives us a consistent name not just in the UK but worldwide following some significant acquisitions.
“It is a crucial step forward in our efforts to build a truly global business software brand.”
Coda was bought by Unit 4 Agresso in January 2008. The company employs around 200 staff at its Harrogate offices.
