Rising demand boosts prospects of software development and tech business

Anniversary gathering for The Curve

Sheffield-based software development and technology consultancy, The Curve, has celebrated 12 months of growth.

The Curve says it has seen unprecedented demand for its services over the last twelve months, aiding its move to its first permanent office space allowing its team to expand to six.

It was founded by Paul and James Ridgway, known previously for building and running a successful UK Global Telematics Platform.

Ridgway said: “The past twelve months has been really successful and our growth has been down to some of the excellent partnerships we’ve made in the region so it’s great that so many of these connections could make our celebration event.

“We want our footprint to grow organically with the hopes of being a team of 10 by the end of the next financial year, allowing us to support and develop our staff and take on more clients.”

Business development director, Melise Jones added: “This is a really exciting time for us as a company, there is clearly a gap in the market for the bespoke services we are providing which means a lot of our existing clients are recommending us to new ones.”

To mark the company’s first year in business an anniversary event was staged in OXO House, Sheffield, attended by professionals from across the city.

The Curve offers a wide range of services from expert advice, effective training, hands-on-delivery and cloud migration solutions. It supports clients in building and running their business more effectively and efficiently.
