Work begins on 40-home residential development

More details and images have been released for a residential scheme comprising dozens of new houses, which is currently being built by Duchy Homes.

Construction is getting underway in the village of Old Malton, in North Yorkshire.

Situated on Westgate, the development has been named Derwent Green and when complete will comprise 40 homes, including two, three, four and five-bed houses and bungalows. House types will include townhouses, detached houses and barn style homes.

The development will also incorporate a large open green space for residents. The first sales are due to be launched this spring.

A Duchy Homes spokesman said the scheme’s design had been drawn up to help it blend in with the conservation area and the location’s semi-rural setting.
