Developer aims to open 133-home development this summer

Homebuilder Bellway says it is working behind the scenes to prepare for life after lockdown and is on-track to unveil another new development in Yorkshire.

St John’s View, in Menston, is due to open once COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted.

To be built just off the A65 on Bingley Road, and with direct access to Menston village, St John’s View will take the number of developments Bellway is working on in the region to 15.

Paula Murdoch, Bellway Yorkshire’s sales manager, said: “Despite everything we’re currently going through as a country, people are still looking for, and in some cases buying, new homes.

“And while we are here to support that in the best possible way, we’re also busy ensuring that come the lifting of the restrictions we have the best choice of new homes in Yorkshire.”

St John’s View will comprise 133 three, four and five-bedroom semi-detached, detached and town houses.

Murdoch added: “I’m sure that once we open, the new development will appeal to a wide range of people who are either looking to get onto the property ladder, or who enjoy the idea of living in a more rural part of West Yorkshire, without being cut off from city life.”

Bellway is due to launch St John’s View in the summer.
