Working on some fantastic and challenging projects whilst steering the Leeds portfolio to consistently high levels of occupancy.

“I have learnt a lot, had many ups and the occasional down, developed as a property professional and as a person, and for this I will always be truly grateful.

“I leave the Leeds portfolio and customers in very good hands and wish them all every success for their next chapter.”

Ciara Keeling, CEO of Bruntwood Works, said, “Craig left us in August after 13 fantastic years. Speaking to TheBusinessDesk.com this morning, Valentine said, “I’m personally very excited about the opportunities that we have got in Leeds and that the team’s got here.I’m really looking forward to leading the team to deliver on a lot of those opportunities and building on Craig’s legacy really because he achieved a great deal and was very highly regarded both in Bruntwood but I think in the wider property community.”

Looking to the future he added, “We’ve been invested in the city [Leeds] for over 15 years and it is fair to say under Craig’s leadership our reputation has grown. We have some great customers with some great schemes, notably Platform. Now our focus is looking at 100 Wellington Street, where we are working on a comprehensive scheme to deliver a Bruntwood Works Pioneer [development].”

Pioneer buildings according to the developer are “the future of workspace design and innovation” which are based around six key themes; amenity, art, biophilia, sustainability, wellness and technology.

Valentine added, “Alongside [100 Wellington Street] we’ll be looking at other opportunities to acquire more and work with others. Ultimately we’re all about thriving cities, which means we want to be part of the journey that Leeds wants to go on and play our part in terms of making it a sustainable city, a city about growth, jobs and opportunities.”
