Shopping parade acquired in £1.5m deal

National commercial property and investment company LCP has acquired a local convenience parade in South Yorkshire.
The business has confirmed it has signed a deal for a retail site in a Sheffield suburb.
LCP purchased the parade in 129-145 High Street, Ecclesfield, anchored by Co-operative Food Group, on behalf of Sheet Anchor Investments Ltd (SAIL), one of the LCP group of managed companies, for £1.5m.
Andrew Barrett, LCP’s retail director, said the parade, which comprises nine shops, three residential units and five garages on a 1.12-acre site with car parking, is “yet another good quality asset” to add to the company’s local convenience parade portfolio.
