Hull FC chairman and owner recovering from Covid-19

Adam Pearson, the owner and chairman on Super League club Hull FC is reportedly receiving “routine treatment” and in a stable condition recovering from Covid-19.

According to an official statement the sports executive, who has also held roles at Leeds United and Derby County, “will be watching his team live on SkySports from hospital this Thursday as the club look to book their place in the Betfred Super League Grand Final.”

The club’s chief executive, James Clark said Pearson was “in good spirits” and was extremely grateful for the support he has received and “the fantastic efforts of the nurses and medical staff who are working around the clock in very challenging circumstances.”

Adding that the owner had “a rough few days” but that he will be back at the club “in the near future after some much needed rest and recuperation.”
