Portfolio of holiday properties up for sale
A portfolio of holiday homes in North Yorkshire has been placed on the market for a guide price of £3m.
Specialist business property advisor, Christie & Co, has brought to market North Yorkshire Coast Holidays (NYCH) holiday homes, located along the North Yorkshire coastline.
The three exclusive-hire properties: Bourne End House, Denmark House and Lucasland Holiday Complex, which make up the portfolio, have been owned and managed by NYCH for the past ten years, in the seaside town of Filey.
Current owners of NYCH have made the decision to sell their portfolio to market in order to seek retirement.
Speaking on behalf of the company, director Kevin Wardell said: “It has been a real joy to run this holiday accommodation over the past ten years.
“As a family-run business, we pride ourselves on offering first class accommodation, together with a warm and welcoming experience in a beautiful location.
“All our properties have been sympathetically renovated to suit a variety of groups, including family or friends and we look forward to welcoming a new owner to take the business forward.”
Bourne End House is a large, detached former “gentleman’s residence” which sleeps six to 16 guests.
Set within substantial grounds, the property is on the private estate of Primrose Valley, one and a half miles outside Filey. There is also a private, traditional themed pub on site for the exclusive use of guests.
Denmark House is a restored 18th Century Grade II listed property that offers holiday accommodation for up to eight people. It is located in the village of Hunmanby near Filey.
Lucasland Holiday Complex comprises 18th-century barns, which have been restored and renovated into three self-contained cottages. The individually themed cottages offer accommodation for up to 18 guests. The complex also features a private pub.
Simon Burbridge, hospitality agent from Christie & Co is handling the sale.
He said: “This is a very rare opportunity to acquire not one but three beautiful properties on the Yorkshire Heritage Coast, for anyone looking to start a portfolio or alternatively looking to grow an existing one.
“We anticipate strong interest in the properties due to their ideal positioning.”
