Baby products retailer bought out of administration by former Apprentice star

Doncaster-based nursery and baby product business The Pud Store has acquired PreciousLittleOne out of administration.

The Pud Store, which is owned by former Apprentice star Fran Bishop, has bought all of Grantham-based PreciousLittleOne’s stock, websites, customer databases and other assets.

Bishop said: “I know there is a lot of hard work to do to get the Precious Little One business up and running again, but I have a great team and we will quickly rebuild customer confidence.”

“At The Pud Store we have built an amazing group of mums, a great reputation for customer service and we know parents really well. We will bring all of our passion and expertise to Precious Little One and will be relaunching its market-leading website sometime in March 2021 – making it better than ever before.”

PreciousLittleOne called in administrators Andrew Smith and Kenneth Marland from Harrisons Business Rescue in January.

In its latest available accounts, PreciousLittleOne employed almost 50 staff at its London Road Industrial Estate address.
