Store opening will create another 80 jobs

An opening date has ben confirmed for a new home, leisure and garden store in Leeds, which is set to bring dozens more jobs to the city.

The latest branch of The Range will be located on the site of the old M&S and Outfit stores at Kirkstall Bridge Shopping Park and should open on Friday 9 April.

A spokesman for the business said that in line with current Government guidelines, additional safety measures will be in place when the store opens.

An additional 80 full and part-time jobs will be created when the Kirkstall branch is launched. The retailer has agreed a 15-year lease for the 35,000 sq ft store.

The Range first opened premises in Plymouth in 1989 and now has over 180 outlets across the UK and Ireland.
