Eddie Jones announced as guest speaker at Christmas lunch

As we approach the end of summer, Monday marks the last bank holiday till Christmas, Leeds Rugby is launching its Christmas Lunch event.

Scheduled to take place a month before the big day on 25 November at the Emerald Headingley stadium, TheBusinessDesk.com can exclusively reveal that guests will hear from the head coach of the England rugby union team who has led the side to 19 cups including the Six Nations Championship three times.

Alongside Jones, former British and Irish Lions  and Leeds Rhinos player John Bentley will be a host the evening and further rugby celebrities which will be announced at a later date.

Commenting on the event Gary Hetherington, chief executive of Leeds Rugby said: “We were delighted to be able to welcome fans back to the Emerald Headingley earlier this year and now I’m pleased to be able to announce this exciting Christmas lunch event with Eddie Jones.

“After the challenges of the last 12 months I’m sure this festive event will not only be a lot of fun but also offer a fantastic opportunity to hear about Eddie’s experiences leading England for the last six years, his thoughts on leadership and ambitions as we move closer to the 2023 World Cup in France.”
