Gifts and cards retailer signs up for space at city centre shopping destination

The Broadway, Bradford, says a new lease has been signed at the centre with retailer The Gift Company, which has created six new jobs.

Located in the Petergate Mall, The Gift Company is set to open imminently.

The 2,000 sq ft store will be the brand’s first store in the UK that will stock its full range of cards and gifts.

Ian Ward, general manager at The Broadway, said: “Providing six new jobs for the community, this new lease marks a welcome addition to the wealth  of brands and stores already found at The Broadway, particularly with the festive season quickly approaching.

“After a long period of consumers being bound to online-only shopping during the pandemic and subsequent national restrictions, we’re delighted to start holding meaningful conversations with brands that support and believe in the value of shopping experiences that bolster  local economies.”

The Gift Company offers products including candles, glassware, furniture, and gifts for men, women, children, pets, and the home. Additionally, it retails a significant Christmas range, with decorations, scents, and stocking fillers.
