Bus travellers sets to be filled with the festive spirit

Award winning gin distillery, York Gin is partnering with First Bus York for a festive treat.

Bus passengers buying a day ticket will be able to claim a free mulled York Gin cocktail such as the York Gin hot chocolate and orange, Roman hot toddy, mulled gin bramble or a mocktail when they visit one of five bars around the city.

The First Taste of Christmas offer will run from 18 November and last the length of St Nicholas’ Fair which runs until 23 December.

Funded by First Bus York to encourage people to travel into the city centre on the bus to do their Christmas shopping and socialising.

The bars taking part in the initiative include; Kennedy’s on Little Stonegate, Herbie’s Treehouse and The Barn on Sampson’s Square, Judge’s Lodging on Lendal, and the York Gin horsebox on Blake Street near the VisitYork office.
