Office move supports expansion for specialist recruitment company

Hartmann Young, an international search company specialising in biotechnology and the life sciences, is moving to new larger headquarters in Leeds as it looks to double the size of its workforce in 2022.

The business is moving to new 3,000 sq ft headquarters in Toronto Square Leeds and has already doubled its staff numbers to over 25 specialist consultants in the last 12 months.

Hartmann Young has also opened a new office in Mayfair, London, to accommodate a larger team in the capital.

The company serves an international client base and has seen revenues leap from £1.5m last year to £4.5m this financial year.

It expects to recruit another 25 consultants in 2022 to support its continued growth, focusing on overseas markets to support its operations in the biotechnology hubs of Boston and California.
